The Age of Learning Foundation Joins UNESCO’s Global Education Coalition

The Age of Learning Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Age of Learning, is dedicated to fundamentally improving the education of children in low and lower-middle-income countries. Partnering with governments and NGOs, we help families and educators ensure that underserved children age 3-12 improve academic skills in a measurable way through highly scalable, sustainable digital learning programs. As Chairman of the Foundation, I am truly excited and proud to announce that the Age of Learning Foundation is now a partner in UNESCO’s Global Education Coalition.

Through our work with the Global Education Coalition, the Age of Learning Foundation proposes to address educational inequities associated with digital divides in these ways, all at no cost:

• Provide free access to our educational apps and content on a broad range of platforms—Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, computers, digital video platforms, and traditional TV broadcasting.
• Preload our programs on devices being provided to underserved communities by other Coalition partners.
• Offer content and apps that do not require continuous internet connectivity
• Provide content for supporting print materials to enable children to continue to make progress when digital connections aren’t available
