Today, the Tabby Awards, which is the only global competition for the best tablet apps and games, published the 2015 Tabby Awards Winners and Users’ Choice winners. Age of Learning’s ABCmouse Early Learning Academy app was a double winner in the Kids, Family & Entertainment category.
In a first judging round, an international panel of app experts, chaired by Otto Toth, Chief Technology Officer of The Huffington Post, short-listed nominees among over 200 tablet-optimized apps from 16 countries. Then the independent panel selected Tabby Awards winners in a final judging round.
For the users’ choice awards, app users from around the world were invited to vote for their favorite apps among nominees at TabbyAwards.com. Over 100,000 votes were cast for the Tabby Awards Users’ Choice.
This double awards process, including both mobile professionals and everyday app users, provides a comprehensive view of the best tablet-optimized apps, such as our ABCmouse Early Learning Academy.
The judges called our app, a “great kids product,” with “lots of educational content and easy to use and learn.”
